BPO Returns to Academy Park on July 1 at 7pm!

The Lewiston Council on the Arts is thrilled to announce that the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing in the Alphonso DiMino Memorial Bandshell at Academy Park in Lewiston on Saturday, July 1, at 7pm.  This free concert is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Anthony DiMino, of DiMino’s Lewiston Tops.

Led by Agentenian conductor Fernanda Lastra, this world-class orchestra is playing a fun, family-friendly concert of favorite tunes—from Star Wars and Frozen to Copland and Sousa–and featuring a special guest, mezzo-soprano Rebekah Grande, the First Place Winner of the Friends of the BPO Scholarship Competition, in her debut performance.

 

Bring your blanket or some chairs and kick off the summer with some incredible music–picnicking is encouraged!
