It's a
long way from Greenwich Village but the spirit of the traditional
coffeehouse percolates through the pub where couples, friends and
singles come to socialize, relax and check out the local talent scene.
Singer songwriter Dale Campbell hosts the six week series of open mic
entertainment which is open to all singers, dancers, musicians, poets,
actors, comics and performance artists of all ages who are looking to
enjoy a moment in the spotlight.
Most of the people who perform at open mics are not professionals - they
do it for the love of it, and part of the fun for the audience is never
knowing what to expect! Toast & Jam provides a unique opportunity for
performers to shine in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Everyone is
welcome.
We have no cover charge, so we heartily encourage the audience to come
prepared to spend a few bucks to support this business that supports the
arts!
