Who We Are

The Mission of the Council shall be to promote the humanities, the visual and performing arts, and to develop an understanding of various art forms within Lewiston and the surrounding communities for the enjoyment, enrichment and education of residents and visitors of all ages.

We fulfill our mission by supporting local artists, creating an audience for the arts, fostering diverse opportunities for art education and appreciation, and providing a forum for cultural diversity to enrich the character of the greater Lewiston, New York area.
