Get Involved and Get Excited!

 

The Lewiston Council on the Arts builds community through art and art activities. Our members are some of the most creative and collabrative indivuals, artists, musicians and volunteers in the area.

Here are some ways for you to Get Involved and Get Excited:

 

1) Become a member and get:

• •Discounts to LCA and Cultural Alliance of Niagara events, classes, gift shops and tours.
• •A coveted Lewiston Council on the Arts Supporter window cling for car, home or business windows
• •A subscription to ArtBeat, our members only newsletter 
• •A nice tax deduction. We're a registered 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization 
• •That altruistic feeling that comes from supporting and participating in an organization dedicated to creating a vibrant arts community 

 

2) Become a permanent part of Lewiston history by purchasing a personalized Heritage Stone installed in the Historic Courtyard

 

3) Lend a hand in the Village Cemetery, restoring, researching and archiving information about the souls who lie within.

 

4) Volunteer some time at the the OH! Gallery on Center Street. It offers the most unique jewelry, glass ware, ceramics, paintings, dolls, wood and photography in the Village, handmade by local artists. 5) Volunteer at our events! If you have time and talent to share, please e-mail artstaff@artcouncil.org and let us know. Choose to help at children's events, Art Festival, music events. historic events or walking tours.
