International Blues stars Guy Davis and Steve Burnside performing a concert at the Hennepin Park Gazebo?!? Guy Davis is a musician, composer, actor, director, writer and storyteller, and the Blues permeate every corner of his creativity. The routes, and roots of his Blues are as diverse as the music form itself.
Steve Burnside is Canada’s First Man of the Blues, having toured the USA and Canada since the late 1950’s. His music is heard in 17 countries worldwide and he has toured and performed with BB King, Taj Mahal, Buddy Gay, Colin James and the Jeff Healy Band. This special concert is presented as part of a binational celebration of “Year of Our Shared Waters”.
